WHO is VeeMAC?

Our Mission

VeeMAC was created to give an affordable option to Vector Control organizations that want to take advantage of the many benefits technology can provide to their operations.

There were several goals in mind while developing VeeMAC.  Those goals include: affordability, ease of use, quick easy field operations, and no “additional fees or licensing required.”

The Developers

The founders and developers of VeeMAC are Steve Fry and Gregg Lanzing.  Steve and Gregg have worked together for over 25 years and have created many IT systems and applications in several different industries.  Together they have over 50 years of combined experience in all areas of IT with a primary focus on software development.

Why VeeMAC?

About 10 years ago Steve and Gregg were working for a software consultancy company and were tasked with creating a custom system for the local county Mosquito and Vector Control Agency.  Working with the director of the agency to design, test, and implement this new system, Steve and Gregg developed a custom system designed specifically for the Vector Control industry.  As a result, both acquired a good understanding of operational needs and industry specific requirements for an efficient vector control focused software solution.  That system was in use for about 9 years until recently replaced with VeeMAC.

In the fall of 2015, Steve and Gregg, while researching possible opportunities, learned that there was a need for a vector control software solution that could be utilized by both large and small agencies.  With their previously gained experience, and with the continued help and direction of the Director of the agency involved in the first development effort, VeeMAC was born.  By evaluating the first development effort, deciding what worked well and what could be better, the design for VeeMAC became clear.  With the continued involvement and direction by the Director of the agency involved in the first development effort and with the help of other industry experts, VeeMAC has evolved to be a very robust, industry specific, solution for both large and small operations.
